The Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline (ABCD)
Actuarial organizations set up the board to enhance standards for companies and individuals professional conduct.
The Board engages in the following:
1.) Respond to requests from members regarding professional behavior.
2.) Review possible infractions of the Code(s) of Professional Conduct.
3.) Suggest ethical actuarial professional practice
4.) Mediate disputes
5.) Conduct educational outreach efforts including oral presentations, creating actuarial content for, regulators, and other stakeholders become more familiar with Actuarial Board for Counseling and Discipline.
