Primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of GGY AXIS actuarial models used to support the production process, including models used in Corporate Planning, Solvency II, Cash Flow Testing, Valuation (Stat, Tax, IFRS4), as well as supporting IFRS 9, IFRS17, & PBR. Inform stakeholders of progress and agreed prioritization of all model change requests, striving to execute all requests with superior quality, timing, and communications. Collaborate with model development, model governance, model users, and other departments across organization.

Education:
-BS/BA Math/Statistics
-3+ Exams working towards ASA

Experience/Knowledge:
-4+ years of life insurance/actuarial experience
-Pension buyout or payout annuity experience strongly preferred
-Model development or modeling experience. (AXIS required)
-Experience in multiple accounting methods (STAT, Tax, IFRS4, IFRS17, EC, SII) preferred

Skills:
-Actuarial software skills - GGY AXIS experience is a key requirement
-Datalink experience expected
-MG-ALFA experience is a plus
-Spreadsheet and database capabilities (Excel, MS Access, and SQL)
-Strong actuarial analytical skills and problem-solving ability
-Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
-Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
-Collaborative with ability to be a team player on cross-functional teams
