The Actuarial Associate provides actuarial analysis and technical skills in support of fulfilling the strategic objectives for the Corporate Modeling Team. The associate contributes to the management and financial success of annuity and retirement products by developing actuarial models, model testing, and performing special projects. Candidates must possess strong programming, financial and analytical skills and be able to successfully work with Valuation, Planning, Pricing, and ERM Departments in support of a variety of actuarial initiatives.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
· Three or more years of relevant actuarial experience
· Annuity product knowledge and experience required
· ASA required
· Actuarial software experience required (Prophet, MG-Alpha, MG-Triton, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
· FSA preferred
· Prophet experience preferred and Prophet ALS Library experience a plus
· Statutory valuation and GAAP modeling experience preferred; VM-21 stochastic modeling, CFT modeling or LDTI a plus
