Actuarial Associate - Pension-8356
Client looking to add an actuary to their staff with pension actuarial experience. This position will play a role in managing client relationships while also handling administrative tasks and various projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of recurring actuarial valuation and compliance work for qualified retirement plans including: actuarial funding valuations, accounting valuations and government form preparation.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of materials for clients.
Provid analysis and assistance on special projects.
Work with consultants on overall work as well attending meetings and helping to manage the client relationship.
Looking for at least 3+ years of relevant experience with 5+ year preferred.
Must also be pursuing exams and working towards becoming an EA and ASA if not already there. Becoming an FSA would be a plus.
Must show strong technical skills, previous IRS funding valuations, (calculations required under PPA, funding, and accounting rules preferred), preparing government forms, valuation data preparation, etc.
Ability to manage own workflow
Strong team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
