Client looking for health & welfare actuarial analysts to work in a fast paced rapidly growing firm that values smart, hardworking individuals who can work to complete tasks in the health & welfare benefit space. Looking for candidates with 1- 3 years of experience with solid health and welfare benefits training. Candidates continue to pursue actuarial credentials by passing exams, with very strong financial and analytical background experience in health & welfare benefits.
Duties will include: Perform technical analyses such as actuarial projections, pricing of benefit plans, reserve liabilities (including IBNR), network disruption, and vendor procurements. Utilize standard and custom approaches to quantifying health and welfare impacts, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and thorough reviews to ensure excellence to clients. Further enhance the technical/actuarial expertise of the firm, through financial modeling tool improvements/development. Research the work they perform and create innovative solutions to improve upon existing systems, maintaining continuous communication with team members to capitalize on their client history and skillsets. Within 6 months, be able to propose modifications to existing modeling tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Continuously improve client and internal relationships, performing daily project management in addition to ongoing outreach and management of client/internal team requests and deliverables and vendor relations.
