Actuarial Pension Analyst-8479
This rapidly growing actuarial consulting firm is looking to add a new Pension Analyst to their staff. Excellent work/life balance.
Duties and responsibilities:
Calculation and certification of retirement benefits
Validate, reconcile and review participant/member data to be used in the actuarial valuation.
Ability to assist with each step within a typical pension valuation cycle.
Organize and prepare Excel files to calculate results for funding valuations.
Expand upon existing understanding of valuation systems and results
Draft pension valuation reports and/or update existing documents for new results.
Assist with actuarial experience studies.
0-2 years of experience
1 or more SOA exams with intent on FSA/EA in the future
Expertise in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Highly organized, detail orientated and strong analytical thinking and ability to problem solve
Ability to manage time in a dynamic work environment and to balance client projects
