Actuarial Sr. Analyst - Pension-9448

Client looking to add an Analyst to their small plans team. Small plan experience is preferred as many plans will be around balance tax shelter type plans. However, someone with broader pension experience would work as well. Job can be a hybrid scenario with some office time in NYC office. Fully remtoe is also not out of the question.
This role will perform various financial analyses and standard calculations related to requirements for employee benefit programs using company sponsored software and tools, with direction from analysts and consultants. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience in an actuarial setting.
Responsibilities:
-Perform standard tasks for an actuarial valuation of pension plans using company sponsored tools
-Prepare forms and reports related to annual compliance for qualified pension plans
-Preparation of pension plan benefits certifications
-Use of standard spreadsheet tools
-Annual update of valuation system software and programming for new plans
-Draft correspondence for review
-Respond to basic client inquiries
-Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
