Description
This actuarial position initiates and leads the development of actuarial studies and analyses, making appropriate recommendations to senior management. As a senior-level individual contributor, the incumbent will provide direction to junior team members and will represent the department's perspectives and needs in cross disciplinary settings, negotiating appropriate compromises and solutions. The incumbent will have the opportunity to explore traditional actuarial work (including premium and pricing development, claim trend analysis, claim reserving, experience studies, medical economics, and profitability analysis) as well as non-traditional actuarial work (to include value based reimbursement, care pathway analytics, provider analysis, wellness studies, network design, and predictive analytics) through Company’s robust Actuarial Executive Development & Rotation Program.
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years of Actuarial experience in area of specialization
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and pursuing FSA designation.
