Non-traditional client looking to add actuarial experience from experienced Analyst to Consultant level. Wonderful opportunity for pension actuary looking to do more than just traditional DB work. Ideal candidate will have less than 10 years of experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide actuarial services and consulting advice to clients regarding their benefit programs.
Emphasis on defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Opportunity to expand consulting exposure outside of just traditional retirement work. Will also have exposure and the ability to work in health and welfare as well as various global issues.
Lead consulting projects and manage projects at a high level depending on level of experience.
Contribute to people management and development in the office.
Reviewing and managing pension valuations
Plan terminations, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, plan amendments and plan design work.
Qualifications:
2-10 years of relevant pension actuarial experience from a pension and/or benefits consulting firm.
Pursuing exams/credentials if not already obtained.
Knowledgeable in benefit program design, legislative, account and regulatory requirements.
