Description
Taft Hartley pension fund looking for leader to have responsiblity and oversight of the Pension Department to ensure accurate records are kept and benefits are calculated correctly and in accordance with the Plan Document. Will serve on leadership team for the Fund and shares responsibility for all aspects of administration of the defined benefit pension fund.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Make sure monthly benefit payments are processed and done accurately and on time.
Ensure superior customer service to all participants.
Make sure all aspects of the Plan Document and laws are followed
Work with various governmental agencies as needed and required.
Prepare reports or briefings to senior management and/or Board of Trustees.
Develop, design, implement and oversee a quality monitoring program.
Skills Required:
5+ years' experience in a role administering a multi-employer, Taft-Hartley, defined benefit pension fund.
Experience managing collectively bargained staff.
Proven track record in providing outstanding customer service
Hands on work experience when it comes to pension calculations and solving complex issues and puzzles.
Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively
