Client in the Midwest has a need for a Director, Associate Actuary for their Corporate Actuarial Life Valuation Team. This position will manage all aspects of the Statutory, GAAP and Tax valuation and financial reporting for the individual life business. This is a key role to ensure the company meets the reserve and valuation standards. This role will assist the company’s Appointed Actuary in meeting their objectives and accountabilities. There will be significant interaction with other actuarial areas and cross functional departments.

Requirements:
· ASA or FSA
· Statutory or GAAP valuation preferred
· Experience in life, annuity, disability income or retirement plan products preferred
· Extensive knowledge of insurance products and concepts, actuarial theory and regulation of the insurance industry
· Strong leadership
· Software savvy
