Director of Recruitment-8317
Major non profit looking to add a Director of Recruitment to their staff. This role will report into the Director of HR and will have direct responsibility for identifying and recruiting talent for all areas of the organization. Position exhibits expertise in behavioral interviewing, competitive pay practices, and the ability to upgrade staff talent across all areas. Must also exhibit strong HR generalist skills and abilitty to mentor junior members of the HR department on recruitment related topics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent internally and externally.
Periodically validate salary structures for both internal and external talent.
Monitor salary actions to insure they conform to policies and do not exceed budget constraints.
Post job openings and screen incoming resumes. Conduct legally compliant, behavioral interviews based on job requirements.
Draft offer letters for approvals.
Process background checks and verify results. Conduct reference checks and write interview notes to validate hiring.
Complete special projects as directed by Director of HR.
Looking for 8+ years of large corporate/large not-for-profit entity HR experience with concentration of 6+ years in recruitment and compensation.
Proven experience utilizing best practices in recruitment, source all levels of non-exempt and exempt staff in all disciplines from non-fee and fee based sources. Prior experience with applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools required.
Experience in managing and developing junior recruiters/generalists.
Proven experience introducing alternative sourcing strategies such as technology or social media.
Knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations, and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities.
