Client looking to add an Actuary to their growing staff. Must be at least an EA to be considered. Wide range of experience the client is willing to consider. Book of business consists of a blend of traditional corporate plans and a heavy focus on small plan cash balance plans. Need an actuary who can run a book of business. Small plan experience would be a plus, but open to teaching someone the nuances of that space. ProVal experience also a plus, but client willing to train. Open to anyone with solid overall experience in the 5-25 year range. Must be able to service a book which includes the day to day work as well as functioning as the client facing lead consultant. Ideal candidate would:
be at least an EA
have experience with running clients/client teams
Chicago area based preferred, but also open to fully remote as well.
preference for some experience with small/cash balance plans as well as nondiscrimination testing, but certainly not required.
Basically looking for someone who wants to have a career running a bunch of clients with a continuing growing group, and someone that doesn't have to be coddled to get up to speed.
