Description

Client looking to add an experienced pension analyst to their growing practice. This individual could be a career analyst and exams are not required to be considered, however will support exams as well. Job can also be fully remote. This position may also provide actuarial valuation and plan administration support to private and public sector employers.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare or check individual benefit calculations
2. Prepare or check data to use in actuarial valuation software
3. Update actuarial software for funding and accounting valuations
4. Check single life tests from valuation software
5. Update valuation results in spreadsheet
6. Help produce and check actuarial funding valuation for single employer, multiemployer and/or public sector
7. Produce and check ASC 715-30 and/or GASB 67/68 accounting reports
8. Support production of actuarial studies
9. Provide project management of annual services and special studies
10. Update letters and presentations to clients
11. Coordinate projects with other team members
12. Communicate with clients on deadlines and questions on routine services
13. Support ad-hoc projects
14. Work effectively with colleagues and clients
15. Learn rules, legislation and regulations related to single employer, multiemployer, and/or public sector pension plans
Qualifications:
Looking for 2+ years of relevant experience working with defined benefit pension plans.
