Client looking for an actuarial candidate with supplemental health insurance experience. Role will involve assisting with a wide variety of tasks including pricing, valuation, experience analysis and mergers and acquisitions.
Pricing, product design, merger & acquisition support, GAAP/statutory/tax valuation, and ORSA support.
Work closely with on-site market research team.
Mentor junior actuarial staff.
Product areas include: critical illness/cancer, accident, hospital indemnity, long term care, combination of life and health products, and other supplemental products.
Ideal candidate will have at least an FSA designation.
6+ years of relevant actuarial experience
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong technical skills with valuation, product pricing, experience analysis and/or re-rating.
MG-ALFA experience desired, but not required.
Prior consulting experience a plus, but not required.
Marketing and/or Sales experience a plus.
