Global business advisory firm with growing practice within HR Transaction Services to support M&A teams from pre-sign to close looking to add to staff. Clients served are typically private equity and to a lesser extent corporate clients. Looking for solid mid level candidates who have had some exposure to HR/Due Diligence/M&A space.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform buy and sell-side financial HR due diligence, as well as global HR post-deal integrations with respect to mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs, and other similar transactions for Fortune 1000 and middle market companies and private equity investors.
Analyze target company data to identify key HR-related financial exposures, including those related to pensions, postretirement medical, executive agreements, change in control/severance plans, Golden Parachute, active health and welfare, multiemployer, defered compensation, equity compensation plans and collective bargaining agreements.
Work on HR transition and integration engagements focusing on the establishment and merging of HR, compensation and benefit platforms.
Participate in the engagement process from start to finish with direct communication with clients.
Ideally looking for 5-10 years of actuarial experience in the valuation, design, and implementation of pensions, post retirement medical, health and welfare and/or compensation plans coming out of a top accounting or benefits consulting firm.
Would like to see actuarial credentials or on track to achieve credentials. In addition to ASA/FSA/EA, also willing to consider JD designation.
Experience in M&A due diligence, carve-outs and/or HR integrations, including implementation of compensation and benefit plans preferred. Some exposure to this particular space to be considered at the Manager/Director level.
