Description
Boutique firm looking to add an Actuarial Analyst to growing practice. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of small plan DB experience. Open to large plan experience and will train. Can also consider someone pursuing exams towards actuarial designation or non-exam taker as well. Job can be fully remote or the preference is this person live and be based in Michigan and have the ability to come into the office from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Benefit calculations and plan administration
Manage work flow
Actuarial Valuation Work
Prepare data and Defined Benefit Plan Valuations
DB/DC combo plan work
Form 5500 and Schedule SB/MB preparation
Defined Benefit Plan Designs
Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations
Increase efficiency with all processes
Non-discrimination testing
Contribute to special projects such as risk assessments, retirement windows, plan design and other projects
Qualifications:
2+ years experience conducting core valuations work in a client-service orientated environment with DB plans
Proven experience working on multiple projects and prioritization of projects
Strong communication skills. Must feel comfortable interfacing with clients and plan participants
Small plan DB experience preferred.
