Retiree Health Actuary-8655
Client looking to add an experienced retiree health actuary to their growing practice.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
actuarial valuations of health and welfare plans analyzing and developing retiree health costs and trends
pricing plan design changes
funding and contributions strategies
Medicare Part D analysis and Medicare Advantage cost analysis
In addition to consulting on a wide variety of complex projects within a team environment, the incumbent will serve as a project manager creating client deliverables, contributing to client management and participating in the creation of new tools and approaches.
Minimum ASA with FSA a plus.
possess a minimum of 8 years of retiree health experience within a benefits consulting and/or insurance company environment to include expertise in claims (mandatory) and liability (highly desirable) aspects.
strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
requisite computer skills, excellent communication (oral/written) skills with ability to interact effectively with a diverse audience, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
