Senior Associate - Pension-8420
Non-traditional firm looking for an experienced pension actuary interested in building a career in a team focused fast paced consulting environment. Opportunity to work on and consult to clients regarding their benefit programs including defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform pension valuations, cost and benefit design studies, non-discrimination testing, benefit statements and compliance
Assisting Analysts and checking and reviewing work of these Analysts
Help managing projects
Preparing reports for client presentations and completing/reviewing compliance tasks
Other projects could include mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, plan terminations, cost and benefit design studies
Ideally looking for 2-6 years of experience in a pension and benefits consulting firm or related industry.
Making good progress towards ASA designation if not there already.
Knowledge of benefit program design, legislative, account and regulatory requirements.
