Ken has come to SC International after 38 years in the print and marketing industry. He owned and operated his own company for 12 years and saw the sign of the times change with the shift from print to digital and sold his company. For the next 20 years he worked at various marketing companies learning and teaching what he had learned over the years with others. In 2020 an opportunity had presented itself to make a career change. In January 2022 he purchased SC International from Scott Rollins who maintains a roll as director and confidant to help steer Ken with his years of knowledge and experience.
About Ken: He lives in the west suburbs of Chicago with his Italian Mastiff Enzo and has two teenage children that he loves spending time with on the weekends. Audiophile at heart he likes to have music playing in the background as he does projects around his home. He loves a challenge to see how he can take something and make it better, listen to people and see what works and does not, then use that input to implement and make a good situation better.
Director: Scott formed SC International in 1986, originally known as Search Centre, Inc., and now SC International, Ltd. specializing in the recruitment of Actuaries, Employee Benefits Personnel, and Data Analysts at all levels for Insurance Companies, Human Resource Consulting firms and Corporations.
Scott’s recruiting career began in 1973 shortly after leaving college. Originally concentrating in the Chemical and Manufacturing industries, he switched over to the Actuarial and Benefits marketplaces in 1983.
Scott Rollins was born in Evanston, IL and raised in Northbrook, IL. Where he attended Glenbrook North High School. Scott then went to Valparaiso University in Indiana majoring in Business with a minor in Mathematics.
He has always been an avid sports enthusiast, from participating in little league through college baseball, to coaching his 2 sons in soccer and baseball. The boys are now grown and have started their own families. It’s time to play with and root on that next generation of Rollins’s.
Most at SC International, Ltd. was starting and then nurturing a business and watch it develop. Then working with and through the recruiting staff as professional recruiters developing those relationships with both client firms and people. Working with the People is the most important part of the business.
Matt has over 25 years of recruiting experience within the actuarial and employee benefits industry all gained while working within SC International. He has successfully recruited and placed actuaries and employee benefit professionals at all levels and across all lines of business with a specialty in the retirement and health and benefit segments. Through his excellent interpersonal skills, work ethic and knowledge of the actuarial industry, Matt has developed strong client and candidate relationships on a national basis. Matt is actively involved in client development, as well as mentoring and training recruiting staff within SC International.
Matt received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and management from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL in May 1993.
Matt is married and has two teenage boys that keep him quite busy. Matt is an avid golfer and continues to be a huge Chicago sports fan.
The favorite thing about working at SC International is the client and candidate relationships that I’ve made over the last 25+ years. These are relationships that I maintain to this day and it’s what makes this job of recruiting so enjoyable. Being a part of helping someone transition into a new role, helping a client fill a tough search or assisting a candidate find that perfect role is what’s truly rewarding and something Matt takes pride in.

Recruiting Work Experience: Recruiting Work Experience: Jerry entered the search industry in 1977. He started his own practice in 1978 specializing in Information Technology. In 2001 he migrated to Actuarial Search and Joined SC International in 2003. While Jerry covers the broad range of P/C, Life, Health and Pension in both Consulting and Insurance companies, his concentration is in Health and Pension Consulting firms specializing in Public Sector, Small Plan and Taft Hartley work.
Business Broker Experience: In 2006 Jerry started a separate division at S.C. International working with the owners of small actuarial consulting firms and TPAs. This work involves succession planning, which at times involves bringing in the next line of management and owners, at other times will involve selling the company. Simply stated, functioning as a business broker to aid the owners in selling their practice. Normal size of these companies will range from $250,000 through $3,500,000. The smallest books that have been sold were $100,000 in revenue for a partially retired actuary and the largest books we have worked with are in the $10,000,000 range.
About Jerry Married for 44 years with 3 children. Interests include woodworking, camping, skiing, bicycle riding, motorcycle riding, baking and cooking.

Recruiting Work Experience: Mark has spent over 20 years in the recruiting industry and has focused mainly in the areas of actuarial and employee benefits. He has successfully recruited and placed candidates at a variety of levels within consulting firms, insurance, reinsurance and financial services companies. Mark takes great effort in sourcing the right candidates based on client needs, fully understanding candidates’ career goals and strengths. He takes pride in ensuring a lasting relationship with clients and candidates with changing business dynamics. Additionally, Mark is known for his approachable demeanor, professionalism, good listening skills, and strong overall work ethic.
About Mark: Married with two boys and a girl; loves spending time with his family. In his spare time, Mark enjoys exercising, music, movies and sports. About Tony: I am 23 years old and am a recent graduate from Eastern Illinois University, and I joined the SC International team in August 2021. I really enjoy watching sports, mostly Hockey, Football, and baseball. I also enjoy fitness and playing recreational sports. One thing that I would really like to do is travel to different countries around the world.
Why I chose SCI: I chose SC International because I saw an opportunity to work with a group of people who are very knowledgeable about the industry. I thought the experience around me would give me the best chance to develop and perform to my highest potential.
